WASHINGTON — A weekend shooting in Northwest Washington has been upgraded to a homicide investigation after a 17-year-old girl died of her injuries, police said Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found a man and a teenage girl suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were conscious and breathing and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
