ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Wild announced its 2026-27 regular-season schedule Thursday, revealing an 84-game slate that opens Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Nashville Predators.
Key dates, home stands and travel
The club will play 84 games — 42 at home at Xcel Energy Center and 42 on the road. The Wild’s heaviest home months are December and January, each with nine home contests. The longest homestand is a seven-game stretch from Dec. 12-28. Early in the season Minnesota will face a demanding travel stretch, with a season-long five-game road trip Oct. 20-27 and 10 road games scheduled in October.

All-Star Weekend and broadcast information
The Honda NHL All-Star Weekend returns Feb. 5-6 at UBS Arena on Long Island. The weekend will include the All-Star Skills on Feb. 5 featuring young players and the All-Star Game format on Feb. 6 featuring five teams in a three-on-three round-robin format.
Locally, KFAN FM 100.3 and iHeartRadio remain the radio home of the Wild, entering their 16th season carrying Wild games. Fans can also stream broadcasts via the station’s website and iHeartRadio platforms.
What this means for fans and the region
The schedule’s distribution of weekend home games should help season-ticket holders and casual fans planning trips to Saint Paul. The lengthy December homestand provides an opportunity for holiday attendance boosts and local businesses near Xcel Energy Center that rely on game-night foot traffic. Conversely, the early-season road-heavy stretch and October road trip will test roster depth and travel planning for a team aiming to remain competitive in a crowded Central Division.
As special event dates approach and single-game tickets go on sale, fans will be watching for promotional nights, televised national matchups and how the schedule aligns with international and Olympic windows in the NHL calendar.
Full game dates, start times and ticket information were released by the team Thursday.
