BAXLEY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Levi’s Call Thursday after a 13-year-old girl was reportedly taken early that morning in south Georgia and is believed to be in extreme danger, investigators said.

The alert was issued on behalf of the Baxley Police Department for Layla Alexis Nubian Carter, a 13-year-old girl who was last seen at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday on James Drive in Baxley. Law enforcement says she was reportedly abducted by Giavannie Alexis Carter, 32.
