Why it matters locally
Programs like I Am Becoming HER contribute to Greensboro’s broader youth-development ecosystem by connecting young women with mentors, educational resources and scholarship opportunities. For Guilford County, such events can influence school engagement, college readiness and community leadership pipelines. The inclusion of health and mental-health professionals also aligns with county efforts to expand access to supportive services for adolescents.
Attendance is free; participants and families can register through I Am A Queen for details on the day’s sessions and scholarship criteria.
