The San Antonio Police Department on Friday issued an AMBER Alert for 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros, who was last seen the evening of June 10 at a home near Roosevelt Avenue and Lowell Street, near downtown San Antonio.
What investigators say
Police say Ozana was with 19-year-old Maximina Cisneros when she disappeared. Authorities list Maximina as a person of interest and say she was last seen July 3. The department released physical descriptions for both.
- Ozana Cisneros: about 2 feet tall, weighs 20 pounds, black hair, brown eyes.
- Maximina Cisneros: about 5 feet 1 inch tall, roughly 100 pounds, black hair, brown eyes.
The case has prompted citywide attention because of the child's age and the time elapsed since she was last seen. San Antonio police are appealing to residents and visitors near downtown — including those who were in parks, businesses or along Roosevelt Avenue in early June — to review any home surveillance, dashcam or doorbell footage.

Local stakes and response
An active AMBER Alert expands investigative resources and public outreach across Bexar County and the surrounding region. For city and county agencies, locating the child quickly is critical to ensure her safety and to determine whether additional charges will be filed. The alert also mobilizes state and federal law-enforcement partners when there is reason to believe a child has been taken across jurisdictional lines.
Officials ordinarily use the AMBER Alert to trigger broad notifications via radio, highway signs and mobile alerts; the intent is to reach drivers and residents who may have seen the child or the person last known to be with her. San Antonio residents are urged to remain vigilant and contact police immediately with tips.
