The city of Miramar is offering residents several opportunities this weekend to volunteer, exercise, celebrate culture and watch sports at hubs across town. The schedule includes a community garden cleanup where students can earn service hours, a full day of Belizean programming at City Hall, and World Cup watch parties at Miramar Regional Park.
What changes for residents this weekend
Volunteers are needed at the community garden, and high school and middle school students who help can receive service credit. Those looking for free or low-cost recreation have options from low-impact aerobics to restorative yoga led by Mayor Wayne M. Messam.
