Kansas City, Kansas — An adult man was found fatally shot early Saturday in Kansas City, Kansas, police said, prompting a homicide investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Major Case Unit.
What happened
Officers were called to the 300 block of Kansas Avenue at about 3:45 a.m. Saturday for a report of a shooting. Responding crews located an adult male lying in the street with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, KCKPD said.
