Weekend events offer competition, demonstrations and family activities in Casper
CASPER — A two-day series of shooting competitions and a free public expo will bring hundreds of participants and dozens of vendors to the Casper area July 18–19, the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation announced.
The centerpiece is the 10th Annual Wyoming Governor’s Match, which will be staged at the Stuckenhoff Shooters Complex roughly 10 minutes outside of Casper. Organizers expect more than 360 competitive shooters from around the country, and the weekend will pair spectators with shooting-sports organizers and statewide elected officials.
For those planning to watch at Stuckenhoff, safety gear is required: eye protection must be worn by spectators and ear protection is strongly recommended.
